Welcome to the Discovery Bay Lookout! Our spacious 1800 SF cabin boasts two comfortable bedrooms, a cozy sleeping nook with bunk beds, two bathrooms, large living and dining rooms, a full kitchen, and a game room - all thoughtfully designed to offer you a comfortable and relaxing stay. Every room in the cabin offers breathtaking views of the bay, mountains, and sunsets, ensuring you'll never miss a moment of the stunning scenery. Outside, you'll find a luxurious jetted hot tub, propane fire pit (April 14th - September) and cedar barrel sauna overlooking the bay! As a guest at Discovery Bay Lookout, you'll enjoy the privacy of having the entire property to yourself, including your own private pebble beach, accessible via private trail through an old-growth ravine. And from Mid-April to September, we offer kayaks for your use, so you can explore the beauty of the bay and its surroundings, including frequent sightings of eagle, heron, river otter, and even the occasional whale. Please note that each guest must sign a waiver before using our kayaks. We have three kayaks available: Two Pelican Argo 100x sit-inside kayaks and one Pelican Rustler 130T tandem sit-on-top kayak. Our cabin is conveniently located just 10 minutes from downtown Port Townsend and offers easy access to a variety of outdoor activities, including kayaking, hiking, and more. You can take day trips to the Olympic National Park or the Hoh Rainforest, or even catch a ferry to Victoria, British Columbia. Situated on a beautiful wooded acre, the cabin is surrounded by a private beach path that winds through an old-growth ravine. At low tide, enjoy long beach walks and wildlife sightings. (Please note that there is a small guest cottage on the property that we use personally, but it will be unoccupied during your stay to ensure your privacy.) While there is one neighboring home and several private gravel driveways in the immediate vicinity, the cabin is set back from the highway, providing a private and serene atmosphere.
